Nice watch
I am an Ocean Crawler fan and have been happy with the 2 watches I bought from them. I love my Champion Diver and decided to give the Field Crawler a shot. It is just a great watch, many compliments and does look refined. You can see and feel that this watch is quality. I work in an ER where things get hectic and you don’t think about your watch. These watches take a beating and just keep on going. I have bump it, smashed it ,banged it and it has no marks or scratches. The only issue I have had with both watches is the bands, they are so tough to change. I love that they send you two bands but they are a struggle to change. I had to cut the band to get it in. I can change a band in any other watch I own in the morning getting ready for work. Ocean Crawler, it’s the night before when I have 20 minutes. It’s not even the time it takes, it’s the scratches from trying over and over. I’m not sure if it’s because of precision fitting or just a glitch. I know there really is no “perfect “ watch, but these watches are pretty close. Quick release bands would really bring this watch close to perfect. I feel the price is really reasonable for what you get. Longine is twice the price and half the watch, Seiko is over priced with no sapphire or Swiss movement. I will show pictures of the watch and they do not do this watch justice. If you get one you will know what I mean when you open it. Again, 2nd watch band was a struggle, it just didn’t fit and had to cut it. It wasn’t same color as the site. You will see damage to band done while changing. I did buy as a sample, so maybe that was the issue. In the end, this really is a beautiful watch. Ocean Crawler has become my everyday watch, that’s why this is my 2nd. The durability, looks, and precision of this watch are comparable to watches I have that cost much more. I love wearing a work horse watch that just looks great and gets compliments from patients. Christian, keep on doing what your doing you’re making people like me happy. Any chance on the crown being at 4 o’clock position? Quick release and 4 o’clock crown would make these watches perfect. But, so happy I came across these watches. In the end, they just are really nice watches.
Loving the Field Crawler. The box and presentation is nicer than some of my watches that are worth far more than this watch. I have Not taken it off since getting it. The leather band takes a little to break in but that is to be expected. I have Been showing it off to everyone.
